The Council for People’s Development and Governance (CPDG) extends its warmest congratulations and firmest solidarity to MASIPAG on the successful holding of its 12th General Assembly and the momentous celebration of its 40th founding anniversary.
For four decades, MASIPAG has stood as a powerful force in advancing genuine people-led rural development rooted in the struggles and wisdom of Filipino farmers. In defiance of corporate greed, landlessness, environmental plunder, and state neglect, MASIPAG has helped sow and grow the seeds of resistance—through farmer-led agroecology, food sovereignty, and a deep commitment to justice and self-determination.
We fully support the call of this year’s assembly: to collectively confront the intensifying crises of food, agriculture, climate, and politics by strengthening the unity and resolve of farmers, scientists, and people’s organizations. We commend the newly elected Board of Trustees and MASIPAG’s 10-Year Strategic Plan, which clearly affirms its role at the forefront of farmer-led research, climate resilience, political education, food governance, genuine agrarian reform, and rights-based advocacy.
As CPDG continues its work of pushing for democratic governance and people-centered development, we proudly march alongside MASIPAG in advancing the struggle for farmers’ rights, resisting the neoliberalization of agriculture. May your assembly further inspire collective resolve to dismantle exploitative systems and build alternatives based on justice and people’s empowerment.

Mensaheng Pakikiisa mula sa Council for People’s Development and Governance (CPDG) para sa Ika-40 Anibersaryo at Ika-12 Pangkalahatang Asembleya ng MASIPAG
Mainit na pagbati at mahigpit na pakikiisa ang ipinapaabot ng Council for People’s Development and Governance (CPDG) sa MASIPAG sa inyong ika-40 na anibersaryo at matagumpay na ika-12 Pangkalahatang Asembleya.
Sa loob ng apat na dekada, naging matatag ang MASIPAG bilang lakas ng mga magsasaka, siyentista, at mga organisasyong naninindigan para sa makatarungan at makakalikasang agrikultura. Sa kanila ng kawalan ng lupa, pag-abuso ng malalaking korporasyon, pagkasira ng kalikasan, at pagpapabaya ng gobyerno, walang humpay ang MASIPAG sa pagsusulong ng likas-kayang pagsasaka, karapatan ng magsasaka, at pagkain para sa mamamayan.
Sang-ayon kami sa panawagan ng inyong asembleya: sama-samang igpawan ang hamon ng krisis sa pagkain, agrikultura, klima at pulitika. Binabati naming ang mga bagong halal na kasapi ng Board of Trustees at sinusuportahan naming ang inyong bagong 10-taong plano na nakatuon sa pagpapalakas ng papupunla ng binhi ng mga magsasaka, pagharap sa pagbabago ng klima, pagpapalalim ng kamalayang pampulitika, tunay na reporma sa lupa, at pagtataguyod ng mga patakaran para sa kapakanan ng mga maliliit na magsasaka at mamamayan.
Kaisa ninyo ang CPDG sa patuloy na laban para sa lupa, pagkain, at kabuhayang nasa kamay ng mamamayan—hindi ng mga ganid na kapitalista at dayuhan. Hangga’t may magsasakang lumalaban, may pag-asa ang bayan!
