August 19, 2024— On World Humanitarian Day, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) led by the Council for People’s Development and Governance (CPDG) and Defend NGOs Alliance held the Shrinking Civic Spaces and Humanitarian Work Roundtable Discussion, raising awareness on the state of civic spaces in the country and the continuing attacks on non-government organizations.
The roundtable discussion featured testimonies from regional and national CSOs whose work includes the delivery of humanitarian services, empowerment and capacity trainings, as well as human rights advocacy.
